Our Mission Statement
Limestone is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to help people and communities support themselves. Our mission is to develop in areas of; education, health, well being, sanitation, and personal development. This may be in schools, orphanages, homes and other institutions. We target select areas of need where value can be added to improve the aspirations of the people in deprived areas to help them become self sufficient in their lives to secure a strong future.
Why We Do What We Do
Extreme poverty is underpinned by poor governance and corrupt institutions. People who live in extreme poverty lack both income and assets and typically suffer from deprivations, including hunger and malnutrition, poor health, limited education and lack basic, employable skills, marginalization or exclusion. Our charity works to provide facilities to guide people and communities from poverty.
Education and Employment
People living in poverty have limited access to formal employment, face increased vulnerability to urban environmental hazards and often lack a social support system. Where extreme poor face discrimination, marginalization or exclusion it can extend from one generation to the next.

Health
A strong health system provides the foundation for a healthy society and protects against a disease burden. A healthy community is vital for well being and to move away from poverty.
Sanitation
Clean water and sanitation are basic necessities, and without it, a person cannot live, let alone rise out of extreme poverty. Often water is unclean and sanitation systems are deficient and poor hygiene practices lead to chronic illness and lack of well being in communities.
This is why Limestone helps guide communities from poverty to reach their potential for their future lives.
